Ruth Thomas Mansukhani

Ruth Mansukhani, 57, of Valdosta, died of cancer on Tuesday, November 1, 2005. Born in Atlanta on November 28, 1947, she was the daughter of Ueal Alexander Thomas and Ernestine Lavelle Williams. Mrs. Mansukhani had made her home in Valdosta for the past 25 years where she had worked as a medical secretary with Dr. Crane at Valdosta Veterinary Hospital and also at Smith Hospital.

Ruth is survived by a daughter and son in law, Maya and Kyle McLane of Lviv, Ukraine; her sons and daughters in law, Phillip and Kim Glenn of Savannah, Andy and Theresa Mansukhani of Stafford, VA., Shyam Mansukhani of Denver, CO, and Vicky Glenn of Quitman; nine grandchildren; her mother, Lavelle Petty of Decatur, step father, Emerson Awtry of Stone Mountain.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Bob Willis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 until service time. Interment will be on Friday at 1 p.m. in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
