Ruth Elizabeth Phillips, 83, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born in Lake Park, Georgia, on July 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred Kinard Whitfield. She was a homemaker and member of Ousley Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at eleven a.m. at Ousley Cemetery with Dr. Clyde Stokes officiating. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the family.
