RUTH DENNIS GOODWIN

RUTH DENNIS GOODWIN, 71, of Lake Park died Friday, November 19, 2004 at home. She was born on January 26, 1933 in Lowndes County to the late George Roe and Remmie Mae Terrell Dennis and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of Lake Park Church of God.

Survivors include seven sons and daughters in law, Mike and Narna Gay, Steve Gay and Wanda Moore, David and Linda Gay, Chris Gay and Carmella Murphy, Wesley and Ruthie Gay, Jimmy and Kelly Gay, Greg Gay and Robin Rowe, two daughters and a son in law, Jeannie Dixon, Christine and Ricky Howell all of Lowndes County, 19-grandchildren, 9-Great Grandchildren, six sisters and two brothers in law, Doris Detwilder of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Mildred and Fred Maxwell of Jacksonville, Fla., Dot and Jimmy Rogers of Jennings, Fla., Molly and Randall Sauls of Lake Park, Roberta Wisenbaker of Lake Park, Kathy Booth of Lake Park, four brothers and sisters in law, Eston and Burnell Dennis of Nashville, Richard and Bonnie Dennis of Jennings, Fla. and Gene and Marie Dennis of Lake Park, Sam and Clara Dennis of Lake Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reid Goodwin, the father of her children, Robert Gay and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Park with Rev. Keith Sandlin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
