Ruth Brown Starling

Ruth Brown Starling, 89, of Lake Park died on Monday, July 06, 2015 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on October 9, 1925 in Lowndes County to the late R.V. and Lillie Baucom Brown and has been a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. She was a teller for Industrial Banking Company for many years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Starling was a member of Dasher Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Elwood "E.E" Starling; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lisa Starling and a daughter, Debbie Ruth Starling all of Lake Park; two sisters, Irene Brown and Frances Draper both of Valdosta; special friends, David and Annie Wilkerson of Lake Park. She was preceded in death by a brother, Julian E. Brown, and two sisters, Margaret Brown and Inez Lott.

A graveside service for Mrs. Ruth Brown Starling will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Copeland Cemetery with Mr. David Nelson officiating.
