Roy Randall Sauls

Roy Randall Sauls, 73, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Valdosta on November 6, 1942 to the late Roy and Eldora Padgett Sauls and has been a resident here his whole life. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from PCA where he worked in maintenance. He was a hard worker who was devoted to home and family and was a big fan of college football and NASCAR. Mr. Sauls was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Molly Sauls of Valdosta; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tina and Tim Law and Teresa (Bug) and Ricky Youmans all of Valdosta, and Tammy Register and her fiancé, Michael Carter of Lake Park; a son, Roy Randall (Buster) Sauls II of Valdosta; grandchildren, Blake Law, Logan Law, Ryan Youmans, Kyle Register, Keith Register and his wife, Eden, Kody Register, Katy Sauls, Austin Randall Sauls, Hannah Sauls; his great-granddaughter, Harper Sophia Register; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Donnie Carpenter of Lake Park; a brother, Larry Sauls of Valdosta; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Blanchard of Valdosta; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brad Law and his sister, Carolyn Blanchard.

Services for Roy Randall Sauls will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Zach Corbett and Pastor Yancey Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
