Roberta Tillman Sharpless, 93 of Lake Park died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on February 26, 1928 in Valdosta to the late Gordon I., Sr. and Elizabeth MacPherson Tillman. Roberta was a bank teller and a retired homemaker. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Roberta had a large extended family, many of whom have passed away and is survived by nephews, Michael I. Tillman and James G. Tillman.
A memorial graveside service will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at two p.m. in the family plot at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Reverend John Akers will officiate. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
