Robert Lee Laforce

Robert Lee LaForce, 90, of Barney, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Carbo, VA on May 18, 1931 to the late Tavis Robert LaForce and Bertha Mac Kaiser LaForce. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working his pecan orchard, and attending church. He attended Friendship Baptist Church in Barney.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine LaForce, of Barney, his sons and daughter-in-law Bobby LaForce, and Michael and Mandy LaForce, both of Barney; and grandson and his wife, Alex and Brandy LaForce, of Orange City, FL; his sisters, Betty Collins, of Kissimmee, FL, Annie Mae Robey Wright, of Salt Lake City, UT, Myrtle Hackney, of Carbo, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mac James LaForce.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2pm in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery.
