Robert E. Miller

Robert E. Miller, 67, of Valdosta died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Heritage Healthcare at Lakehaven after a lengthy illness. He was born on December 28, 1942 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Roscoe E. and Mary Barker Miller and had lived in Valdosta for the past twenty five years. Mr. Miller was retired from the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam and a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Miller of Valdosta, three daughters, Brittany Harris, Janet Miller and Jane Ellen Miller all of Valdosta, one son, Robert Everett Miller of Valdosta, four grandchildren, Christine Alexis Miller, Jonathan DeWayne Miller, Joshua Daniel Miller all of Valdosta and Renee Lee Miller of Orlando, Fla., his first wife, Essie Lee Miller of Orlando, Fla., two sisters, Johnnie Miller of Atlanta and Sue (Jeanette) Traynor of Chicago, Ill.

Memorial services will be held at 4pm, Thursday, January 7, 2010 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church with inurnment to follow in the Christ Episcopal Church Urn Garden. Condolences may be made online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
