Rick Tomlinson

Rick Tomlinson, 48, of Dasher died suddenly Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Valdosta, Georgia on September 23, 1960 to J. Pat and Marlene Buchanan Tomlinson and had lived in Dasher all his life. Mr. Tomlinson was employed by Sam's Club and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his parents, J. Pat and Marlene Buchanan Tomlinson of Dasher, sister and brother- in-law, Gina and Rob Grimes, of Dasher, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester and Renee Tomlinson of Albany, Tim and Michaele Tomlinson of Franklin, Tennessee, and Aunt, Kay Tomlinson of Nashville. Also surviving are two nieces and three nephews, Noel Tomlinson of Franklin, Tennessee, Sage Grimes of Dasher, Luke Tomlinson of Franklin, Tennessee, Miles Grimes and Hendrix Grimes of Dasher, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Mr. David Nelson and Mr. Mike Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 -4 p.m. at the funeral home.
