Phyllis Bennett Harbuck Friesen

Phyllis Bennett Harbuck Friesen, 58, of Valdosta, died after a short illness on Sunday, February 3, 2008. Born in Adel, Georgia, on February 17, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Roy and Myrtice Whittle Bennett. Mrs. Friesen was a Baptist.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Ronda Harbuck of Ray City; grandchildren, Jerrod Thompson and Ashley Thompson of Ray City; brothers and sisters- in- law, John L. and Barbara Bennett of Lake Park, Roy L. and Myrtle Bennett of Valdosta; sisters and brothers- in- law, Martha Ward of Valdosta, Joan and Lamar Leggette , Shelia and Russell Dorminey of Valdosta, Mary Flurry of San Antonio, Texas; many nieces and nephews; special aunt, Ruby Wetherington of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by a brother, LaRue Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Elder Thad Marshall will officiate.
