Pauline E. Hagood

Pauline E. Hagood, 87, of Crestview Florida died at her residence on Sunday, February 15, 2009 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Winston County, Alabama on February 13, 1922 to the late Arthur and Lizzie Adams Elliott. She was a homemaker and a former resident of Valdosta. Mrs. Hagood was a member of the New Harvest Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Larry Bailey of Crestview, Florida; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clay and Barbette Hagood of Nashville, Georgia, John and Nancy Hagood of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Neal and Vickie Hagood of Valdosta; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; special family members, Jeff and Cindy Graver and their son Matthew all of Warner Robins, Georgia; two sisters, Irene Killian of Birmingham, Alabama, and Marge Carwile of Decatur, Alabama; sister-in-law, Christine Elliott of Birmingham, Alabama; special friends, Cleo Simpson of Brooks County and Margaret Lankford of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Ardell Hagood, Sr.

A graveside service for Pauline Hagood will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Mr. Jeff Graver officiating.
