Patricia Ann Guest

Patricia Ann Guest, 84, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 16 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born August 1, 1934 to the late Joel & Marie Peters. She was a lifelong resident of Valdosta, where she graduated from Pine Grove High School and attended Valdosta Business School before beginning a career at Credit Bureau of Valdosta. She retired from the Credit Bureau as manager in 1996. She was a faithful member of Bemiss United Methodist Church. She deeply loved the Lord and found special joy in being a part of the beginning of the walk to Emmaus at Camp Tygart. She loved and cherished her family and was never happier than when she was in their presence. She was Nana, not only to her family, but to nearly all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Scott Metts; grandchildren, Emily Wade and Eli Metts; great-grandchildren, Ellie Scott Wade and Connor Wade; brother and sister-in-law, John and Sara Peters; special niece, Mary Martha Johnson all of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joel R. Peters, Jr., Martha Johnson, Rose Marie Bowman, Mary Love Fields, and Sarah Jane Peters.

A graveside service for Patricia Ann Guest will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bob Ellis officiating.
