Pastor William "Bill" Louis Cotterill

Pastor William "Bill" Louis Cotterill, 74, of Valdosta died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on February 7, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Ralph and Mary Louise Feck Cotterill and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Pastor Cotterill served as the Pastor of the First Assembly of God in Valdosta for thirty years. Since retirement he had been serving as an Evangelist and Interim Pastor for area churches.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia S. Cotterill of Valdosta; nephew, Ralph Cotterill of Luray, KS and numerous doting nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, October 28, 2016 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. James Kennedy officiating. Entombment will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
