Nora Diane Overton Yawn

Nora Diane Overton Yawn, 72, of Hahira, passed away on Wednesday, September 02, 2020 at her home. She was born in Belk, Alabama to the late Arlie Arlton and Pauline Killingsworth Overton. She enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and walked by faith. Nora was known to be a safe haven to many children. She was a member of the Adel of Church of God.
She is survived by her three sons, Troy Yawn, Jr. (Patsy), Travis Yawn (Sheree), and Jason Yawn (Karen), all of Hahira; fourteen grandchildren, Alyssa Yawn, Ty Yawn, Ashton Yawn, Devon Yawn, Jase Yawn, Austin Yawn, Willie Deason, Andrew Yawn, Ethen Yawn, Shelbi Yawn, Jordon Crosby, Jonathan Crosby, Madison Crosby, and Jasmine Adams; three sisters, Cathy Huggins, Jean Wilkinson, and Juanita Vargo; and a brother Max Overton, all of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Pat Elinburg.
Funeral services for Nora Yawn will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Adel Church of God with Brother Ashley Way officiating. Burial will follow in the Lenox City Cemetery.
