Nicole Leonie Marchand

Nicole Marchand, 46, of Nashville, died on Monday, December 11, 2006, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born on March 15, 1960, in Ottawa, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Imelda Desjardins Marchand. She had made her home in Nashville since 1986. She was a Catholic.

Survivors are her sisters and brothers in law, Paulette and John Bourgon of Bryceville, Florida, Denise and John Shortt of Manchester, Tennessee; her life partner, Becky Moore of Nashville, step sisters, Carla and John Davidson of Timmins, Ontario, Canada, Coleen Darcy of Manitoba, Canada, step brother, Michael Laporte of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Miss Marchand’s cremains will be buried at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Carson McLane Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
