Mildred D. Ryan

Mildred D. Ryan, 83, of Valdosta, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 following a lengthy illness. . She was born in Douglas on July 3, 1921 to the late Jesse Thomas and Mable Julia Wells Duke and has lived in Valdosta since 1952. She was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons and daughters in law, Stanley and Melinda Ryan of Waco, TX, Gerald and Judy Ryan, Clarence and Debbie Ryan, Tommy and Becky Ryan all of Valdosta; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at two p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2004 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Mr. Bob Rowell officiating. Burial will follow on Monday Nov. 30, 2004 in the Risher Cemetery in Williams, SC. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
