Michael Lee Dowse

Michael Lee Dowse, 66, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 following a brief illness. Michael was born in Victorville, CA on August 4, 1952 to the late Capt. Richard A. Dowse and Betty Stephenson Dowse. Michael was employed at South Health District IT department. He was a member at Park Avenue United Methodist Church. He loved cats and to ride motorcycles, especially the toy run. He was a quiet but loving and humorous person, who loved his family dearly.
Michael is survived by his brother and sister in law Scott and Cary Dowse, of Valdosta, his nephew Christopher and wife Bridgette Dowse of Valdosta, his niece Casey and husband Shawn Amason, of Opelika, AL, and his great niece and great nephew Blakelee and Grant Amason. He was preceded in death by his sister Ginny Dowse.
A funeral service for Michael will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Rikard and Rev. Allen Hartsfield officiating.
