Mattie B. (Pat) Wallis

Mattie B. (Pat) Wallis, 88, of Valdosta died at home Monday, March 16, 2015 after battling the effects of a major stroke in July 2011. She was born in Berrien County, GA on October 19, 1926 to the late Charlie Brady and Flora Kirkland Brady. Mrs. Wallis was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Rolland (Ray) Wallis of Valdosta, her daughter, Flora R. Beaman of Valdosta, two sisters and one brother in law, Linzie and Howard Hansford of Valdosta and Reba Mae Simpson of Fargo, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at ten a. m. at the graveside at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
