Mary Odom Jeter

Mary Odom Jeter, 97, of Valdosta, passed away Friday April 24, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 12, 1923 in Moultrie, Ga to the late Phillip H. and Ruth Allegood Odom. She was a loving mother, friend, and grandmother. Mrs. Jeter was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jeter, two sons and daughters in law, James F., Jr. and Carol Jeter, Arthur E. and Lorraine Jeter, all of Valdosta, her grandchildren Christy and Doug Carter, Berke Holtzclaw and Todd Holtzclaw and great grandchildren Altman and Carsen Howell, Evelyn Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Frederick Jeter, and brother Phillip H. Odom, Jr. The family would like to express their appreciation for Regency SouthernCare Hospice and nurse Courtney Youmans for their care of Mrs. Jeter.
