Mary Kay Stalvey, 62, of Hahira, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born on July 21, 1953 in Valdosta to the late Jesse D. and Annie Lee Howell Courson. Kay was an employee at Cook County High School and a member of Bemiss Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff L. Stalvey of Hahira, son, Beau Haines of Hahira, three sisters and one brother in law, Thelma Morgan and Martha Courson of Ashburn and Fay and Rocco House of Macon, three brothers and one sister in law, Loyd Courson of Ashburn, J. D. Courson of Lake Park and Harry and Rosalind Courson of Adel, numerous nieces and nephews. Kay is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Raymond Courson, Hoyt Courson, Bill Courson and Lamar Courson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at two p. m. at Bemiss Road Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Edwards and Mr. Justin Atchinson officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Wednesday at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
