Mary J. Turner

Mary J. Turner, 73 of Lake Park since 1999, and formerly of Oklahoma, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born on December 2, 1932 in Daytown, FL, she was the daughter of the late Roy Felton and Lula Baker Lynch. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Idabel, OK.

She is survived by her husband, Willie Turner of Lake Park, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Calvin Fussell of Twin Lakes, GA, Gay Lewis of Lake Park, GA; grandchildren, Tracey Phillips of Lake Park, GA, Calvin II and Angel Fussell of Lakeland, GA, Teisha and Billy Joe Mathis of Lake Park, GA, Samantha Fussell of Twin Lakes, GA, Landon Lewis and Damon Lewis both of Idabel, OK; 11 great grandchildren; her sister, Doris Cloney of Valdosta, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hilton Eugene Lynch.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at McLane Lakewood Chapel in Lake Park, GA with Chaplain Skip Van Nus and Reverend Robert Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Park City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home.
