Born August 25, 1939, in Echols County, Georgia, to Bertie and Myers McDonald, Mrs. Buerger died Monday, November 23, 2020 in Jacksonville. She was a retired AON executive secretary and a member of Restoration Church of God.
Mrs. Buerger was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Edward Buerger, and two brothers, Renae Myers McDonald and James Verell McDonald. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Tina Michelle (Gary) Bennett of Jacksonville; a sister, Mrs. Ida Maxine (Waver Padgett) McDonald of Fargo, Georgia; a grandson, McCray Anthony Bennett of Jacksonville; a nephew, Richard (Jennifer) McDonald and a niece Angie McDonald both of Homerville, GA.
A Memorial service for Mrs. Mary Deloris McDonald Buerger, 81, was held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, November 28th at Restoration Church of God, in Jacksonville with Pastor John V. Morgan officiating. The Committal of the Urn will be held at Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County, Georgia, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the Buerger family locally.
