Mary Alice Lane

Mary Alice Lane, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was born In Naylor, Georgia on February 21, 1940 to the late Lucius Henry Davis and Ola Mae Harnage Davis. Mrs. Lane was a homemaker and volunteered at South Georgia Medical Center in years past. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved her family including her protector and fur baby, Mylo. She loved “The Three Musketeers”, listening to Alan Jackson, and playing Candy Crush on her phone.
She is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her caregiver, Amber & Troy Terry & her family; her sisters, Bobbie Jo Metzler, and Betty Pratt; her brother, Joe Davis; and her brother-in-law, Brinson Lane & his family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Lane, Jr.; her daughter, Mary Jane Lane; and her siblings, Allen Davis, Francis Powell, Jack Davis, and Lewis Davis.
