Marvin L. Ussery

MARVIN L. USSERY, 85, of Valdosta died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the Brooks County Hospital. He was born in Alamo, Georgia on December 20, 1921 to the late Charlie and Olive Varnadoe Ussery. Mr. Ussery was a retired Chief Master Sargeant with the United States Air Force and was a avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Nell P. Ussery of Valdosta, two daughters and sons in law, Cathy and Paul Garschagen of Quitman and Sandy and Ronny Staten of Baxley, three grandchildren, Adam Garschagen of Valdosta, Sarah Murray and Holly Smith both of Baxley, four great grandchildren, Auden Murray, Skylar Murray, Chance Murray and Sadie Smith.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2pm, Friday, August 31, 2007 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ronny Staten officiating.
