Martha Boatwright Killeen

Martha Boatwright Killeen, 61, of Valdosta and formerly of Destin, Florida, died at her home in Valdosta on Monday, June 22, 2009. Born in Camilla, Georgia on March 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Essie Mae Jackson Boatwright. Martha was a bookkeeper. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors are her daughter and son in law, Kellye and Jeff Hennesy of Douglas, Georgia; grandson, Jay Hennesy of Douglas, Georgia; sisters and brothers in law, Ellen and Bob Tate of Crestview, Florida, Sarah and Julian Rigdon of Valdosta, Georgia, Jeanette and Lamar Prance of Canton, Georgia, Gloria and Cliff Trentman of Argyle, Texas; several nieces and nephews; special companion, Ron Skinner of Destin, Florida. Martha was preceded in death by brothers and a sister, William Thomas Boatwright, Jr., Delores Butler, Benny Boatwright, Myers (Buster) Boatwright and Gordon Boatwright.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Dan O'Connell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wendesday June 24, 2009, evening from _6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church.
