Marshall E. Mcmullen

Marshall E. McMullen, 83, of Valdosta died on Thursday September 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1932 in Valdosta to the late Joe K. McMullen. Sr. and Fannie Mae Wisenbaker McMullen and has been a lifelong resident of Valdosta. He was a graduate of (Dasher Bible School) Georgia Christian School and a member of the Dasher Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patricia Ann McMullen of Valdosta; three sons, Randy McMullen, Andy McMullen both of Valdosta, and Joe McMullen of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Dana Ganas (Jerry) of Lake Park; Kelly Perreira (Joshua) of Valdosta; Aimee Simmons (Trey) of Jacksonville, FL and Joe McMullen, II of Jacksonville, FL; eight great grandchildren; Courtney Perreira, Mathew Perreira, Allison Perreira, Emily Perreira, Taylor Brown, Skylor Brown, Cayden Simmons and Kalabe Simmons. Also surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law; J. C. McMullen (Judy) and Evans McMullen (Lenora) all of Valdosta. In addition to his parents he was predeceased in death by a daughter Marcia Ann McMullen, and two brothers, Joe K. McMullen and Cranford McMullen.
Memorial services for Marshall McMullen will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Dasher Church of Christ with David Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hospice of South Georgia or Georgia Christian School.
