Marjorie Smith Temples

Marjorie S. Temples, 91, of Valdosta died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on April 24, 1920 to the late Ernest M. and Esther Boone Smith and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Mrs. Temples attended chapel services at the Fellowship Home.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law, Sam and Susan Temples, Seth Temples, Seab and Pam Temples all of Valdosta, six grandchildren, her sister, Billie S. Sims of Valdosta and a nephew, David L. Noel of Rabun Gap, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip O. (P.O.) Temples and a sister, Virginia S. Noel.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Mr. Buddy LaHood officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
