Marjorie L. (Bobbie) Connor

Marjorie L. (Bobbie) Connor, 68 of Valdosta, died on Monday, April 17, 2006 at Holly Hill Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born on December 24, 1937 in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Bertie Fletcher Bryan. She was a retired loan officer for Southeastern Credit Union and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Don Connor of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Don Poole of Poulan; son, Michael (Mike) Connor of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, James Bryan, Donald Lynn Bryan, Ronald Glenn Bryan; sisters, Vera Morgan, Jo Frances Bryan, Carolyn Repass, Anna Joyce Lippe, Shirley Harp, Faye Starner and Linda Jean Brown. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Lessen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2006 in the Mausoleum Chapel at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rick Hofmeister officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel.
