Marjorie Griffin Harnage

Marjorie Griffin Harnage, 86, of Cecil died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Pruitt Health of Valdosta. She was born on December 15, 1928 in Cecil, GA to the late Erin Paulk Griffin and Bertha Wetherington Griffin. Mrs. Harnage was a bookkeeper and accountant in Daytona Beach, FL and for her family businesses and for the Valdosta Housing Authority. She was Clerk of Court in Cecil. Mrs. Harnage was a member of Cecil Baptist Church and played the piano there for more than twenty five years.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Caldwell of Valdosta, grandson, Shannon Caldwell of Valdosta, step daughter, Freda Harnage Johnson (Arnold) of Eatonton, GA, step son, Earl Joe (Joey) Harnage (Alice) of Warner Robins, GA and brother in law, Marcus Gramling of Valdosta. Mrs. Harnage is preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Harnage, brother, Horace T. Griffin and her sister, Sue Carol Gramling.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at eleven a. m. at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery near Cecil with Pruitt Health Hospice Chaplain Mr. Jimmy Jones officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
