Marian Dampier Harnage

Marian Dampier Harnage, 79, of Hahira passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1940 in Lowndes County, GA to the late Ashley James Dampier and Maggie Marie Luke Dampier. Mrs. Harnage was the wife of a minister, Reverend Leonard Harnage, where at Hahira Church of God she served the Lord and Reverend Harnage continues to do so. She loved her church family, ran the food pantry and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She was a homemaker, loved helping others and enjoyed gardening. She loved her family and community.

Mrs. Harnage is survived by her husband, Reverend Leonard Harnage of Hahira, two sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Carolyn Harnage of Echols County, GA, Steve and Kim Harnage of Barney, one daughter and son in law, Brenda and Rickey Bailey of Adel, son in law, Bill Foppe of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren, Christy McLeod, Jason Harnage, Stacey Pearce, Michele Caldwell, Jacob Harnage, Jessica Howard, Brandon Harnage, Alex Harnage, Abby Harnage, Kay Leigh Harnage, Tanner Harnage, Kyle Browning, Ashley Hiatt, Blake Goolsby, Brandon Goolsby, Austin Goolsby and Colin Goolsby, twenty great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, A. J. and Marie Dampier, son, Henry Harnage and daughter, Cheryl Foppe.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Raiford Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Wilkes Cemetery near Adel. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
