Margaret C. (Peggy) Blair

MARGARET C. (PEGGY) BLAIR, 89, of Valdosta died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born on September 11, 1918 in Quitman to the late Edwin Thomas and Mattilou Spell Culpepper and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Blair was a Baptist.

Survivors include her brother, Jack Culpepper of Tenio, WA. sister and brother in law, June and Leo Schoens of Mt. Vernon, WA., two granddaughters, Beth and Robert Peagler, Brandi and Cam Stalvey all of Valdosta, great grandchildren, Hunter Peagler, Hank Peagler and Hamilton Peagler all of Valdosta, numerous nieces and nephews, mother of her grandchildren, Phyllis Blair. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hunter Blair, Sr. and a son, George Hunter Blair, Sr., a sister and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Jim Schappaugh officiating. The family will receive friends at the Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday from 10am until service time. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
