Madonna Theobald

Madonna Theobald, 89, of Hahira died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on September 16, 1926 in Hamilton County, IN to the late James Elmer Mellette and Mildred Louise Cobb Mellette. Mrs. Theobald was a homemaker and a pastor's wife. She was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Theobald loved to read and play the piano.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Ann and Earl Maupin of Hahira, son and daughter in law, Steve and Peggy Theobald of Greensboro, NC, five grandchildren, Matt (Shari) Maupin, Sarah (Dan) Evans, Corinna (Clay) Cross, David (Pam) Theobald and Bethany Theobald, ten great grandchildren, her brother and sister in law, Bill and Peg Mellette of Lafayette, IN and brother in law, Albert Theobald of Thorntown, IN. Mrs. Theobald is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pastor Link Theobald and her brother, James Mellette.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at four p. m. in the Magnolia Room Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Carroll Joye officiating. Burial will be at Craigsville Cemetery in Craigsville, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from three until four p. m. Saturday at the funeral home.
