Lou Miley Tyler

LOU MILEY TYLER, 89, of Valdosta died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born in Cook County on September 19, 1918 to the late Jake and Martha Posey Miley and had lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Tyler was retired from Bynum’s Diner and a Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Jake Baker of Orange Park, Fla. , 6-grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin E. Haire and Russell Tyler and a son, Richard Haire.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Friday, January 18, 2008 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Condolences to the family may be made online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
