Lorenzo John Price, Sr.

Lorenzo John Price, Sr., 72, of Valdosta, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1935 to the late Lorenzo J. and Alberta Cowart Price and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Mr. Price was a retired social worker and a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Lorenzo John, Jr. and Ruby Price of Boston, MA; daughter and son in law Melani P. & Stuart Beavers of Highlands, NC; grandchildren, Lorenzo John Price, III, Bronte Katherine Price, Monroe King Price, Issac Stuart Beavers and Ellie Cate Beavers. He is also survived by two cousins, Earl Chitty of Valdosta and Bodie Chitty of Atlanta.
