Leila Mae Weaver Miller

September 8, 1916 — November 2, 2005

Leila Mae Weaver Miller, 89, of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at Smith Northview Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Cook County on September 8, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Richard Ancil and Rosie Virginia Johnson Noles. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of Forest Park Church of Christ.

Survivors are a daughter, Mary Kay Davis of Valdosta, a son and daughter in law, Roger Dale and Cindy Weaver of Hahira, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; three sisters, Bessie Johnson of Griffin, Mamie Ruth Nicholson of Lake Park, Lucille Browning of Lakeland; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Weaver and James D. Miller, Sr., two daughters, Dorothy Bailey and Jo Ann McCray, four sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Mr. Ray Joyner will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Cemetery in Berrien County.
