Lee Edmundson Cohen

Lee Edmundson Cohen of Miami, Florida passed away on April 18, 2008 in the presence of her devoted husband, Gene, and her daughter Marghy. She was 84. She was born in Wilson, North Carolina and attended Atlantic Christian College. She and Gene spent 64 happy years together. In addition to Marghy (Joe) Smothers of Valdosta, she is survived by another daughter, Anne (Larry) Morts also of Valdosta. She has 2 loving grandchildren, Justin Smothers of Valdosta and Lee Smothers of Savannah, Georgia. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jean Cohen of Bonita Springs, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doan and Margaret Edmundson and son, William. She was a lifetime member of the University of Miami Woman's Club and was active in other non-profit organizations.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with John Harrington Officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee's name to VITAS Hospice of Florida or any Hospice of your choice.
