Laura A. Glass

LAURA A. GLASS, 87, of Valdosta died Friday, July 7, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on April 14, 1919 in Miller County, Georgia to the late Will and Maggie Runnels Norris and had lived in Valdosta for fifty four years. Mrs. Glass was a member of the Forrest Street Church of God

Survivors include three daughters and a son in law, Nell H. Wells of Valdosta, Ann and Fred Brown of Mesquite, TX., Jeraldine Conway of Valdosta, one son and daughter in law, Ray and Geretha Glass of Newnan, 13-grandchildren, 12-great grandchildren and one brother, Albert Norris of Lakeland, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Glass and one son, Rev. B. Darrell Glass.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Forrest Street Church of God with the Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Glass will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church.
