Larry Mack Johnson

Larry Mack Johnson, 57, of Lake Park died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Fla. He was born in Hahira on September 14, 1951 to the late Marvin and Hazel Hancock Johnson and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mr. Johnson was veteran of the United States Navy. His daughter, Abbie Johnson preceded in death on May 4, 2009.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters, William M. (Bill) Johnson, Linda Wilson both of Valdosta, Rusty (Cathy) Johnson of Brunswick and Rebecca J. Johnson and her fiancé, Steve Emerson of Albany, special nephew, Monty Wilson of Valdosta, other numerous nieces and nephews, uncle and aunt, Bobby and Nelda Buckholts of West Palm Beach, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny T. Johnson and a sister, Maxie King.

Memorial services with military honors will be held at 2pm, Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the home of Larry, 3307 Teal Drive, Lake Park, Georgia. The home is located in Duckpoint Subdivision off Loch Laurel Road. Memorials may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America or to the charity of your choice.
