Larry Altman

A giant of a man, a legend, Larry Altman, has passed away. He just turned 84 and lived a big beautiful life always doing it his way. He had a hunger for life! He hunted, fished, built homes, cars and boats, gardened and made solid relationships all while telling jokes and making everyone laugh. He was our rock and carried us all through everything. If love could have saved him he would have lived an eternity. He will be forever young to us and loved beyond measure.

Larry is survived by his wife Faye Altman, of Valdosta; daughter Dannean Altman, of Naples, FL; granddaughter, Emma Hoffestetter, of HI; and sister, Fay (Altman) Kalaidi and Theodore Kalaidi, of Jupiter, FL.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Redland Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
