Kathy Montgomery Williams

Kathy Montgomery Williams, 63, of Valdosta passed away suddenly on Friday, April 19, 2019. She was born in Adel, GA on March 7, 1956 to the late Elwood E. and Ava Nell Bullard Montgomery and had lived in Valdosta all of her life. Mrs. Williams was of the Baptist faith and the office manager for her daughter’s law office, Jennifer E. Williams LLC. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter, going to Disney World and was involved in gorilla conservation, both in zoos and in the wild. Kathy was a 1974 graduate of Lowndes High School.
Survivors include her husband, Yogi Williams; her daughter, Jennifer Williams both of Valdosta; her sister and brother in law, Wanda and Kevin Pittman of Valdosta; two brothers and sisters in law, Wayne and Vicky Montgomery of Lake Park, Walter and Brenda Montgomery of Valdosta; her nieces and nephews, Ashli Margle, Kris Pittman, Jonathan Montgomery, Josh Montgomery; four great nephews and two great nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Ward officiating. Entombment will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 pm until service time.
