Kathleen Patterson

Kathleen Patterson, 82, of Adel died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born in Cook County on January 12, 1933 to the late Otis and Zetta Lee Cady Brown and had lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Patterson loved camping, fishing and working in her yards. Mrs. Patterson loved spending time with her family and talking about the old days. She had worked at Metal Products in Adel and for Dr. Avery Beall for eleven years.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Allen and Janie Patterson of Adel; her daughter, Kathy Patterson of Valdosta; daughter in law, Glenna Patterson of Nashville; her grandchildren, Phillip Patterson of Adel, Stacey and Candy Patterson of Adel, Jennifer and James Butler of Live Oak, FL, Stephanie and Sharmon Nelson of Valdosta, Roscoe and Jessica Patterson of Adel, Samuel and Katelyn Patterson of Adel; 10-great grandchildren, 1-great great grandchild; two brothers and sisters in law, Otis, Jr. and Maryann Brown, Herman and Sue Brown all of Hahira; three sisters in law, Aline Brown of Nashville, Doris Stalvey and Fannie Patterson both of Valdosta and a host of nieces and nephews; her cat, Rocky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl P. Patterson, her son, Mike Patterson, her brother, Carlton Brown of Nashville and two sisters, Hattie B. Jones and Velma Ann Brown of Adel. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Alberto and Dr. Vera Garcia and staff, South Georgia Medical Center, Pruitt Hospice, Lakehaven Nursing Home and Myron Faircloth of G & G Family Medicine and special thanks to Casey and Kristen for their care of Mrs. Patterson during her illness.
