Katherine Rose Bauer

Katherine Rose Bauer, 86, of Valdosta passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on March 15, 1933 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to the late Walter Richard and Frances Lippman Helliher and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mrs. Bauer was Catholic. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Bobby and Marguerite Bauer of Cheyenne, WY, Michael and Joan Bauer of Lake Park; two daughters and sons in law, Karen and Ronny Branch of Fitzgerald, Jaye and Alan Blanton of Valdosta; three grandchildren, Kristina Bauer, Kortney Bauer Kent and her husband, Kellen Kent, Eric Blanton and his wife, Morgan Blanton; four great grandchildren; her brother and sister in law, Robert and Eloise Kelliher of Springfield, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Paul Bauer.
Graveside services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Schappaugh officiating.
