Junior Claude Mcdonald

J.C. McDonald, 80, of Lake Park, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, after a lengthy illness. Born in Lowndes County on January 22, 1925, he was the son of John and Maude Hughes McDonald. Mr. McDonald was employed with the Langdale Company. He attended Lake Park Church of God.

Survivors are his wife, Rubinell Westberry McDonald of Lake Park, daughters and son in law, Sharon and Chad Harrell, Brenda and Paul Mulkey of Lake Park, grandchildren, Hannah and Dyllan Harrell of Lake Park, sister and brother in law, Faye and Herbert Smith of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Russell and Reba McDonald of Lake Park. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Matthews and a brother, James McDonald.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2005, at Lake Park Church of God at 2 p.m. with Reverend Keith Sandlin and Reverend Bobby Frier officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery. Mr. McDonald will lie in state at the church for 30 minutes prior to service time.
