Joy Register Mcdaniel

Joy Register McDaniel, 82, of Hahira passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on July 12, 1938 in Cook County to the late Kenneth and Alma Fulp Register. Mrs. McDaniel was a Paraprofessional at Hahira Elementary School and a member of Community Calvary Holiness Church, Adel.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Franklin McDaniel, Sr. of Hahira, children, Franklin McDaniel, Jr. (Sue) of Hahira, Tracy McDaniel of Hahira, Cindy Taylor (Tim) of Valdosta, grandchildren, Shanna Smith (Scott), Frankie McDaniel III, Blake Taylor, Ansley Stagner (Nic), great grandchildren, Elisha Smith, Michaela Smith, Judson McDaniel, Cayden McDaniel and Kylie Taylor, sister and brother in law, Ann and Ralph Knight of Lilburn, sisters in law and brother in law, Shirley Register of Hahira, Jeannette and Robert Parker of Morven and Tyrone McDaniel of Adel. Mrs. McDaniel is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ken Register.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 at eleven a. m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Freddie Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from ten until eleven a.m. at the church. Please wear a mask and abide by COVID and social distancing guidelines.
