Joseph Albert Llobet

JOSEPH ALBERT LLOBET, 74, of Lake Park, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center from complications of sugar diabetes. He was born October 1, 1934 in Santruce, Puerto Rico, a son of Jose Ramon and Josefina Gimenez Llobet. Joe was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and retired from Miami-Dade County after 25 years of service. He was an avid football fan, especially of the Miami Dolphins.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Llobet of Lake Park; one daughter, Tammy Llobet of Boston, MA; sister-in-law, Jane Coleman of Lake Park; brother-in-law and his wife, John and Mildred Shepherd of Ashburn; brother-in-law, M.C. Powell of Sylvester; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Services will be held at 4 pm Sunday, October 12, 2008 at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
