John Wayne Jones

John Wayne Jones, 67, of Satsuma, FL passed away September 25, 2014 at the Langdale Hospice House after an extended illness. He was born March 22, 1947 in Grandview, IN to the late Dow and Effie Jones. Mr. Jones was retired from the United States Marine Corps and loved fishing and living on the St. Johns River in Florida.

Survivors include a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shannon and Mauricus Kellam of Valdosta; a nephew, Anthony Bennett of Valdosta; a niece, Amanda Bennett of McDonough, GA; two great nephews, AJ and CJ Dunkley of McDonough, GA. In addition to his parents and siblings, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Diane Jones.

At the request of Mr. Jones, he will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
