John Marvin Rozar, Jr.

John Marvin Rozar, Jr., 52, of Hahira died on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was born in Eastman, Georgia on December 23, 1957 to the late John M., Sr. and Darla Jean Price Rozar. Mr Rozar has been a resident of this area for over 30 years and was the owner and operator of A-1 Drywall in Valdosta. He loved hunting, fishing and other activities in the great outdoors including hunting for arrowheads. Mr. Rozar was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Abby McGee Rozar of Hahira; a son, Justin Rozar also of Hahira; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Angela Rozar of Columbus, Craig and Pamela Rozar of Atlanta, and Tim and Ellen Rozar of Locust Grove; a father-in-law, L.C.McGee, Jr., as well as other family members.

Services for John Marvin Rozar, Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. The burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
