Jimmy William Webb, 75, of Nashville and formerly of Hahira died Monday, February 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 29, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida and had lived in Hahira most of his life until moving to Nashville several years ago. Jimmy retired from Crackin Good Bakery as a Chief Engineer and served in the United States Navy where he received many awards and decorations for his service. He was a Protestant and enjoyed watching westerns on television and fishing. Jimmy loved to design things out of old materials that were left for scraps. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and never met no strangers.
Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Webb of Nashville; his children, Theresa Webb of Valdosta, Melissa Webb of Valdosta, Kimberly Webb Fousek and William Fousek, Jimmy William Webb, II and Farrah Webb, Brandon Webb all of Ray City, Bradley Webb of Monticello, FL, James David Webb, Jimmy William Webb, III both of Nashville, GA; his grandchildren, Selena Fousek and Natalie Webb; two sisters, Brenda (Robert) Freeman of Valdosta, Debra Ann (Dan) Lewis of Hahira; two brothers, Henry (Spud) Moran of Cocoa, FL, Sandy Moran of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Colan Webb, Ida Mae Carpenter Webb and Geneva Webb; two brothers, David Webb and Lavelle Webb.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, February 20, 2021 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
