Jimmy R. Lineberger

Jimmy R. Lineberger, 70, of Crossett, AR, passed away on May 20, 2008 at the Ashley Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 13, 1938 in Valdosta, GA, his parents were the late Harry M. and Helen Louise St. John Lineberger. Mr. Lineberger was a customer service manager for Owens-Illinois, and Bemis Co. He was a Baptist and a member of the Crossett Kiwanis Club. Mr. Lineberger coached flag football for the Boys and Girls Club and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, both in Valdosta.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lineberger of Crossett, AR; three sons and a daughter-in-law, James Russell Lineberger, Jr. of Jacksonville, AR, Willie Frank Barrett, Jr. (Pete) and Sherry of Macclenny, FL, and Steven Phillip Lineberger of Crossett, AR; three daughters and son-in-laws, Jennifer Suzanne Belancsik and David of Johnson City, NY, Julie Anne Protheroe and Greg of Chapin, SC, and Lucretia Ann Cole and Ricky of Pooler, GA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo Green and Houston of Valdosta; and three cousins, Joan Sanders, Gail Skiles and Elaine McMillan. He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter Howard St. John, Jr. and George Edward St. John.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm, Friday, May 23, 2008 at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Friday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
