Jerry Dean Ferrell

Jerry Ferrell, 70, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Langdale Hospice. She was born on February 18, 1939 in Cairo, to the late Paul and Floy Miller Hurst.
Mrs. Ferrell was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Valdosta.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Ferrell; daughter, Jill Ferrell, of Valdosta; son and daughter in law, Scott & Toni Ferrell; grandson, Josh Ferrell; granddaughter, Katie Ferrell all of McKinney, TX; brother and sister in law, Raymond & Jeanette Hurst of Cairo; two nieces, Karen Patrick and Sharon McGoldrick

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in the Chapel of the Carson McLane
Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Scarbrough officiating. The burial will follow at one p.m. in Greenwood cemetery in Cairo. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 -8 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Pearlman Cancer Center or Langdale Hospice House.
